IT-Line got tired of outdated tools and replaced them all with cloud-based, modern solutions implemented by AJR Solutions. Up next AJR Solutions continues with IT-Line’s digital transformation process by migrating ERP systems and other remaining local data to cloud.
IT-Line focuses on improving the productivity and internal logistics of their customers by designing, manufacturing and assembling equipment for heavy industry.
WHERE WE STARTED: They looked for assistance in modernizing processes because of outdated IT system and Office tools. As an example: Outlook calendar and contacts were not synching with smartphone and no cloud storage services were in use.
HOW WE SOLVED THE PROBLEM: First step was to analyze and review IT environment together with the IT-Line team. As decided, we started a project to migrate all Office tools, documents and emails into cloud-based O365. AJR Solutions migrated all emails and email folders from the old exchange server to O365, including email settings. Company documents are now stored in OneDrive and SharePoint. System downtime during the migration project was limited to only a few minutes, and it was scheduled to take place outside of business hours.
WHAT IS THERE TO FOLLOW: IT-Line decided to go further with migrations and so an upcoming project of moving on-site servers hosting IT-Line’s ERP system to the cloud was planned.
