Petteri Kallio recently joined our AJR Solutions team to work as Lead Developer. He’s bringing along great problem solving and debugging skills, accurate effort estimation and most of all, the ability to understand the ‘Bigger Picture’.
Petteri tells more about his first weeks at AJR Solutions:
“I’ve felt very warmly welcomed to the team. Our office location is favourable for my direction of commute, and the office itself is a nice, well lit and air-conditioned silent space. I also seem to have a lot of previous colleagues and therefore familiar faces working around the Hermia offices.
When I first started, my assignment was to substitute another developer during his vacation. He has two ongoing projects and it was a challenge to adapt to the two projects with different technologies – while setting up development environments and all the other tools at the same time. However, it was rewarding to notice that I was able to contribute already after such a short time.
I will have my first own project starting soon, which will be subcontracting at a client’s premises. This means that my main working location will be in the vicinity of the Tampere city center for a while.”
